For nearly 4 decades Tim Stinson has honed his fighting skills to develop the Bet Your Life Combative Fighting Skills System. As a child, Tim's first instructor, was his father John Stinson a highly decorated Korean War Veteran who believed that his five sons would some day be exposed to the cruelty and violence of war themselves. When most boys were learning to throw a football, the Stinson Brothers were learning the art of self defense.
Tims' skills were tested on the streets of a small community North of Boston and his proficiency in street fighting led to his enlistment in the US Marines in the early 1970's. While in the US Marines he studied various styles of Martial Arts before becoming involved in the Okinawan Karate Shorin ryu Shorinkan. Mixing okinawan karate and street fighting with Marine Corps hand to hand combat was a natural transition for Mr. Stinson and over the next thirty years he adapted and "bastardized" the learned techniques in countless fights. Upon returning from a tour of duty in Afghanistan Tim Stinson trained in California with Jim Wagner earning his Instructor Credentials in Jim Wagner's Reality-Based Personal Protection Program. As a brawler, biker, former marine, body guard, security professional and teacher he developed a unique training regimen and evolving fighting style that has been tried and tested.

Bruce Kuzyk is currently living in Indonesia where he will further pursue his martial arts training. Bruce has completed the Instructors Course taught by Timothy Stinson in the art of Bet Your Life Combative Fighting Skills, completed the Jim Wagner's Level One Reality Based Personal Protection Training also taught byTim Stinson at the Bet Your Life Combative Fighting Skills private training facility in Katy, Texas. Bruce is also a certified fitness and conditioning instructor
